The Maritime Bar

If you prefer a more casual alternative to the West Cork restaurant circuit then The Maritime Bar is your go-to destination.

Offering delicious food and drinks in a warm and inviting atmosphere, it is the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure or to recharge before your next outing.

From noon until three, enjoy a hearty carvery lunch, followed by an extensive bar menu showcasing local flavours. There is, of course, also a full selection of beer, wine, spirits, and minerals to choose from.

The Maritime Bar is also a favourite spot in Bantry and West Cork for live entertainment. We have live entertainment weekly with local musicians playing great contemporary sets or traditional Irish evenings.

Please note: The Ocean Restaurant is a busy, popular restaurant in the hotel. To guarantee availability, all dining reservations must be made in advance of your stay (including all dinner-included packages). Two sittings may apply on Saturdays and certain other busy dates which will only allow set times for dining.

The Ocean Restaurant is open daily from April to October. It is open every Friday and Saturday with select Midweek Nights from November to March. Please check with the hotel for opening days.

Enjoy an afternoon of tasty treats and dainty delights and celebrate Ireland’s love affair with tea. Whether enjoying a girl’s day out, a family get-together, a baby or a bridal shower, Afternoon Tea at The Maritime Hotel is a fabulous way to spend time with family and friends.

Afternoon tea at The Maritime Hotel costs €24 per person, and includes three tiers of freshly prepared sandwiches and scones as well as a selection of cakes and tarts to accompany your choice of blended teas or freshly ground coffee. Make the occasion extra special by adding Prosecco for an additional €9 per snipe or €34 per bottle.
