From the start of our wedding plans Grainne, Helen and all the team at The Maritime Hotel have just been amazing. From our first meeting and chats we felt at ease and understood. Our day was one of the most magical we could ever imagined and was not possibe without Grainne and her team. The food and planning of the room was spectacular and generous. We would highly recommend The Maritime Hotel for anyones wedding but if it's a spectacular day your looking for then dont go any further. Many thanks again to Grainne and the team

Your team's attention to detail, professionalism, and warmth made our wedding day truly magical. The venue was stunning, the staff were attentive and accommodating, and every aspect was flawlessly executed. We felt so cared for and were able to fully enjoy our day knowing that everything was in such capable hands.

From the very 1st email reply / correspondence we had with you to the BBQ on Whiddy the attention to detail and service you all provided was beyond what we could have wished for. Everyone is saying it, how amazing everything was in The Maritime. Everyone said the food was delicious and very ample, the BBQ went down a treat
The room setup was perfect, loved the decor and the fairy light entrance went down a treat, oh and the wishing well card drop off was a lovely touch
The memory box in the room, what a touch that was, such a lovely and thoughtful idea, again ye really went above and beyond, the little touches were perfect.
I can't even begin to thank you personally enough for everything, your hard work. You made planning a wedding so easy and seamless for us that we won't ever be able to thank you enough.
In 1 sentence, then 5 stars in the service, decor, food, location, 5 stars all around, exceeded any expectations we had (from attending other weddings in other venues) and honestly made our day. From the 1st communication to the final part, top class service - won’t be beaten by anyone!

The Maritime Hotel and the wonderful staff exceeded all our expectations, from the initial walk through, the bridal afternoon tea, the menu tasting to the day itself we would not change a single thing. The staff at the hotel were absolutely outstanding and nothing was too much trouble - when I visited for the bridal afternoon tea I brought my flower girls and to say the treatment we received that day was next to none, the girls were absolutely delighted and the afternoon tea was beautiful. Our dinner on the day was amazing from starters to desserts - there were alot of empty plates after all courses and alot of compliments to the chef. We honestly cannot put into words how special our day was at the Maritime and how easy it was to enjoy our day as they really made it special for us. The feedback from our guests couldn't have been better, everyone really had a great day and our guests who stayed couldnt reccommend it more. To everyone at the Maritime hotel a thousand thank yous for making our day one to remember.
Thanks again for everything, all my family are still singing the praises of all the staff and the hotel.

We married at the Maritime Hotel on Sat 11/02/2023. From the moment I first contacted Helen at the Maritime nothing was too much trouble. As a bride who wanted everything to run perfect I had many queries which Helen answered patiently. Helen was very communicative and responsive. I stayed at the hotel the night before the wedding with some family and friends. Everyone commented on how excellent the service was and how tasty the food was. The staff were very friendly and attentive. On the day of the wedding everything ran very smoothly all thanks to the diligence of the staff at the Maritime and Helen. All of our guests commented on how relaxed the day was and how beautiful the food was as well as how attentive and friendly the staff were. The views from the function room were spectacular. We had the best day celebrating our wedding at the Maritime and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for their wedding venue. You will not be disappointed!

From the moment we first made contact with the Maritime, we knew that this was going to be the place to host our wedding. They were flexible, welcoming and happy to advise on how to make the day memorable for us and our guests. In the run up to our wedding and on the day itself the Maritime team, particularly Helen, Alan and Elaine could not do enough for us, they were always friendly and efficient.
The whole day was absolutely perfect. The ceremony venue, reception and meal spaces were beautifully decorated (we definitely recommend a Christmas wedding there!) It was so relaxed and the feedback from our guests on the food, drinks and overall experience was excellent. Thank you!

Even though government restrictions reduced the number allowed to the wedding, the room was designed magically, all guests had a brilliant time some even telling us it was one of the best weddings they've been to. "Kevin and I just want to sincerely thank you and your team for the outstanding help, guidance and support you gave us while planning our wedding in the months leading up to it, and thoroughout the day itself. You made planning our wedding in a short space of time so easy and a much more manageable process!!.
You were on the other side of the phone anytime we wanted or enquired about anything you were straight back to us, nothing was too much trouble and it definitely put me at ease with our planning straight away.
The Hotel was absolutely amazing, the attention to detail, the food, the extras included were second to none.
The staff are an absolute credit each and everyone could not have been more helpful or accommodating throughout the whole day. Our guests are still speaking so highly of our wedding day and how outstanding the hotel and staff were.
